Define your non-negotiables
We get specific about the capability required, the type of person you are looking for, the experience that is needed and the environment the person will be joining.
PERFORMANCE, MEDICAL & COACHING
Performance departments are now some of the most specialist teams in sport. The people who lead them need to be credible with athletes, coaches and the board at the same time. We search across:
Paul Farbrace, our Partner for High Performance & Elite Sport, and Jack Coltherd-Lyttle, who recruits across performance, data and technology, work across this practice.
SPORTING, PERFORMANCE & MEDICAL
A strong CV does not tell you whether a clinician will earn the trust of a first-team squad, or whether a performance lead can explain their budget to a board. We assess both.
We look at clinical and technical depth, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and how someone works under the pressure of a season that does not wait.
How we work
ONE CONNECTED SPORTS ECOSYSTEM
These sectors align with ICP’s six-practice-area structure and its definition of modern sport as a connected ecosystem rather than a set of silos.
CASE STUDY - NORWICH CITY FC
Norwich City FC retained ICP to appoint a Head of Physiotherapy across the men’s first team, women’s programme and academy, reporting into the Director of Performance.
The search began at the end of the season. We mapped physiotherapy, medical and rehabilitation talent across the European football market and made the appointment ahead of the agreed schedule, in time for the new campaign.
