Location: Various UK Locations, United Kingdom Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus


Our client delivers solutions and innovation across a range of sectors including Cyber Security, Aerospace, Defence and Avionics. Currently they are recruiting a number of Cyber Security Lead Consultants to join their specialist Cyber Security division on a permanent basis.

The positions are integral to the introduction of security by design into the company - involving collaboration with a range of technical and consulting teams to ensure security is embedded from the ground up, through product development phases and project initiatives.

As a leader, you will provide thought leadership across the division and will play a significant part in delivering the future Cyber Security strategy for our client.

These positions will suit seasoned consultants with demonstrable experience in delivering Security solutions, ideally within highly secure environments.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years working in cyber security, with demonstrable experience performing security architecture services
  • Technical background within an engineering, industrial or operational environment with experience in design and delivery
  • Knowledge of common cyber security vulnerabilities and how they are exploited, reverse engineering techniques, and the current threat landscape
  • Solid understanding of embedded product security architecture techniques such as Secure Boot, trusted execution environments, secure maintenance techniques, reducing the attack surface, and secure coding practices
  • Demonstrable experience applying and adapting industry specific risk management and/or technical security standards such as NCSC security guidance, IEC 62443, FIPS 140-2 and NIST Cyber Security Framework, to systems and services
  • Able to compile and drive a technology roadmap to attain industry standard security certifications and accreditations
  • Ability to design complex technical solutions in an inclusive and participatory manner, to negotiate with and influence other technical design parties (business stakeholders, technical architects, software developers, third party suppliers) to reconcile technical and business considerations to arrive at the optimal solution
