A global leader in defence technology has established a new unit to deliver bespoke R&D, consultancy and access to a vast network of innovative R&D partners. In this role, you will be the brains behind the engagement strategy and use a consultative approach to build strategic relationships with front line commanders. At the same time, you will lead a team of experts from the business to develop a strong bond with the organization.
You should possess a background in high technology consultative sales and business management. As this is a role requiring engagement with front line military commanders, you should be adept at forming strategic relationships with C level individuals. Experience in multi-year (at least 3 – 5 year) consultative sales cycles is key. A familiarity with the MOD or a consultancy background is advantageous but not a prerequisite for success in the role.
