Our client is a leading disruptive provider of global satellite communications and information technology. They are at the top of their game right now and looking to maximize this by further strengthening their EVP team.

The Executive Vice President “EVP”, Commercial (Maritime and/or Enterprise & Emerging Markets) will partner closely with the CEO and other senior leaders of the organisation to deliver best in class product capabilities and sales processes around the world. This will be done by creating and maximizing global opportunities through a robust sales and marketing strategy, delivered through operational excellence.

This position requires someone with a proven track record building high performance sales and business development teams and delivering sustainable results. It will involve unparalleled grit and resourcefulness to bring ideas to life in new and innovative ways.

Essential Requirements

  • Consistent delivery of your proficiencies in the product capabilities and sales process best practices to support our clients’ growth strategy.
  • Demonstrated leadership required for transformational endeavor — driving performance, execution and accountability — whilst remaining obsessive about all customers.
  • Creative problem solving through anticipation of customers’ requests by understanding the customers challenges.
  • Deep understanding and experience in gathering critical information and using it to develop complex business solutions that anticipate and creatively solve customer problems while demonstrating a deep understanding and experience in the execution of their ideas.
  • Responsible for growth across the organisation by new customer acquisition as well as cross selling the full array of our clients’ solutions to existing customers.
  • Ability to influence and advance the strategy, while also understanding beyond the plan filling in the operational voids to ensure customer satisfaction through discipline and accountability.
  • Direct and participate in acquisition and growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
  • MBA or equivalent (preferred).
  • 15-25 years’ experience with 5+ years’ experience positioned in a VP or executive level role.
  • Proven P&L experience.
  • Experience in a strategic or operational role within sales, marketing, business development, customer success, professional services.
